The Game Theory trio, led by pianist Doug Johnson, offers intensely rhythmic interpretations of jazz standards along with original compositions by Johnson and Perez.

The group has performed throughout Austria and Poland, including appearances in both of Vienna's preeminent jazz spots: Porgy and Bess, and Joe Zawinul's Birdland. The trio's first recording will be released in spring 2006.

Bandleader Doug Johnson has been a professor at many of Boston's most prestiguous music schools including Berklee College of Music, Wellesley College, The Rivers Music School, and The Brookline Music School. He is the preferred pianist of many modern jazz and brazillian bands in the Boston area.
